Open for lunch, and serving fresh-baked
breads and organic foods.

Kimberton Whole Foods Market & Café
A five-minute drive from the conference
site. A wonderful selection of organic and
biodynamic foods are available in the market,
and the café is open for breakfast and lunch.
Hours: Mon - Fri / 8 am - 8 pm
Sat / 9am - 6 pm Sun / 10 am - 6 pm

Station Bistro
A five-minute drive from the conference
site. A beautiful, historic stone structure –
once a “station” in the Underground
Railroad – houses a lovely restaurant
whose owner and chef is a Waldorf
alumna and former Waldorf teacher.
Everything served is pedagogically
correct and age appropriate.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner
reservations advised.

one of the most highly-rated restaurants
in Pennsylvania. (
Zagat’s award
) Not inexpensive, but
perhaps a good place to celebrate once
you’ve survived the Essential Conference.
Dinner reservations advised.

The Thai Place
A ten-minute drive from the conference

restaurant; a little pricey, but very
high in quality.
CitySearch gives them
a 4.5 star rating out of 5.

Phoenixville, PA 19460
Phone: (610) 917-9943

Epicurean Restaurant & Bar

A ten-minute drive from the conference

late hours make this a good spot
for apres-lecture snacks.
